Here's a coupla random shots from the weekend seeing as there was not much in the way of surf, unless you dig onshore bowls!! School's back tomorrow, so everyone over 18 is stoked to have the line-ups return to normal in the mornings. Ballies get a chance to hook a wave again without having to compete with the paddle power of the groms. Study hard lighties, make those mornings at school count. Surfing rules, but it doesn't pay the bills! Unless you Jordy.
And here's a good reason to work hard at school so you can go on and get a decent graft - cos maybe one day you can also break the piggy bank open and buy yaself a 60ft super-cat!! Check out the shots below of the launch of the new Nexus Catamaran at St Francis harbour yesterday arvo. It was pretty stressful just as a bystander watching em try wiggle it through some tight corners, so hate to know the blood pressure of the boat builders and owner during the process. Ex-PE surfer and Greg Smiths ding-man for many years, Andy Lenton, is the fibreglass guru behind these beauties. He took us on a tour of her before they launched in the arvo, and this is one seriously sweet boat. Perfect for surf cruising remote islands. Images as credited. Comments are closed.
