The week that was...Waves. Big, stormy, wild and wooly waves, which became big, lumpy-with-some-hidden- gem waves. The bay was solid. JBay a legit triple overhead. The wild side wild and unridden. It rained a lot, was freezing cold, but who cared! There were waves! Check the weekly wrap here...

SA Longboard Champs for JBayFor the first time in 12 years Jeffreys Bay will host the SA Longboard Champs. The event, presented by RYD, will be from the August 24th – 29th, subject to Covid-19 regulations.

Back then...So PE changed it's name to something unpronounceable. Posted on FB that at least they can't change the names of our surf spots. A PE old timer, now living in the States (and still surfing at 77!) made a comment about surf spot names back then and a bit of cool history. Check it out here...
