Calling all Ladies, whether you're a grom or a granny, who want to learn to surf in a friendly non-judgmental environment! Come join Women on Water (WOWEE) on Saturday morning 28 Nov at 08h00.
Join in the laughs and splashes at Denville beach (opposite Dolphins Leap Centre, next to mcArthur Baths), it's free of charge. Bring your mom, sister, aunt, cousins and friends, and discover the love of surfing. Dave Lipschitz from Surf Centre will provide boards and some suits (bring your own if you have). Physio Marelize Dalton will start off the day by taking everyone through some stretching and exercises to get properly warmed up, and then you'll hit the water with the qualified surf instructors (who are gentle and kind). The event is endorsed by Surfing South Africa, thanks to SSA's Robin De Kock for giving some prize money. Prizes will be for the most spectacular fall, the most impressive amateur, the most humourous etc). Please RSVP to Sandy Coffey on [email protected] or 0832657804, or via the Facebook event page here https://www.facebook.com/events/1499949833633282/ WOWEE stands for Women on Water - with the "ee" being an exclamation. Hopefully what you'll be yelling when you stand up on your first wave!
