Soul Surf Classic

The Soul Surf Classic went down on Saturday morning in some good surf, despite the iffy weather. A bunch of vintage pre-80's boards got yanked down from the rafters, and fetched from the dusty corners of garages. And darn, they looked happy to be in the water again!

Everyone had a blast riding the retro's. 

Alex van Rijswijck won the comp, with Craig Cuff in second, Bruce Campbell third and Lee Allers fourth. Candy and Kelly came 2st and 2nd in the Ladies.

Shot to Dave Lippie for loaning some boards for the comp, and donating prizes, and to Brett Hoppe who sorted out some lekker prizes from the Boardwalk.

The event was organised by the Christian surfers and will hopefully become an annual event.
