Something Good Surf Classic results

The 2nd annual Something Good Surf Classic went down in some super fun surf and lekker weather at Pipe on Saturday. Contest organiser Mervyn Goddard gives us a quick wrap on the day:

"These are the winners for biggest FUN Surf event in the Eastern Cape. The Biggest winner on the weekend was Surfing , as some toppies once said “The best surfer out there is the one having the most fun” & “there are a million ways to surf, and as long as you’re smiling you’re doing it right”

Tunes on the beach from 8 in the morning, coupla waves, Kiff day, party at night.......what a joll.......
 
A huge thanks to all of our sponsors: Something Good, The Boardwalk, RED BULL, El Jimador, Richelieu, Surf Centre, The Boardroom, Deadreck & Billabong plus many more. We gave away R15 000,00 worth of prizes and made some much needed loot for NMBS surfing. A big portion of which goes to development and underprivileged youngsters.  

Thanks to all the helpers that gave of their time planning and on the beach and weeks before. To mention a few, Dianne Jopson SUPERSTAR, Andre Venter, Brett Hoppe ,Jenay Morton, Petro, the paid as well as volunteer judges, the DJ’s,Ground Cafe tuk tuk, and many more.

And finally to all the supporters of the event on the beach and at the party.......but the biggest thank you to all of the 70 SURFERS that took part in this FUN EVENT.
