NMMU Surf comp

Billabong/NMMU Madibaz hosted a surf comp at Pipe on Saturday. Conditions were pretty tricky to say the least. Hectic onshore and messy swell, but the ou's were all over it like a rash. Some good surfing going down. Grant Beck & Faye Zoetmulder took out the Open divisions, and other winners were Clint Fraser (Masters), Alex van Rijswijck (Juniors), Greg Lutge (Social) and Yongama Dilima (NMMU Learn to Surf program).

Scott Lenton won the Expression Session, and Clint Fraser took the prize for the  VonZipper Most Radical Move, and Grant Beck won the DaKine Most Progressive Wave for his perfect 10. Takes some doing getting a 10 in those conditions!
