With tricky winds forecasted & decent swell, it was a hard decision in making the call on where to surf for the start of the 2015 CYOH SURF OFF SERIES. We had an early morning light Northerly blowing which quickly changed into a hard Easterly for the remainder or the day, so it was only fitting that the first event of the year be held at none other than PE's very own PIPE. The weather was amazing & everyone was amped to kick off another epic CYOH year. Participation was great, surfing was insane & it was just another awesome CYOH day spent together with family & friends. With the ever growing participation of the club, it was decided that we needed to incorporate another division into the series that accommodated for our younger, up & coming mini groms. This division is fittingly now known as our CYOH KAMODO DRAGONS division. Tough battles went down in all divisions, especially the BALLIES & OPEN mens. T.I.C.C, was the phrase for the day, which stands for, THIS IS COUGAR COUNTRY, these where the words being exchanged from the start of the event. For those of you who are familiar with the PE cougar, then you will know its extremely difficult to beat one in the conditions that we had. Well done to all our participants & winners. A big thank you to our amazing sponsors ( Billabong / Vonzipper / Dakine / Nixon / Kinetic Racing / Red Bull / The Boardroom / ) CYOH Lifestyle Living - Family.Friends.Future RESULTS
