Boardwalk sponsors EP Juniors

The Boardwalk has come on board as one of the sponsors of the EP Junior Surf team. Awesome to have local business stepping in to help our lighties.

EP's Annie van der Merwe tells us more:

"Yes, the Boardwalk has gone all out for us. Isn’t it amazing, at least we can keep the costs down.  They are sponsoring us EP blazers, shirts, food and accommodation. They are also having a big gazebo, with board and wetsuit racks made for the beach.

The whole team was put up by the Boardwalk on Friday night with breakfast included.  The Spur at the Boardwalk sponsored us a meal on Friday night.  One of the little boys on the team, from Pellsrus in Jbay said after really enjoying his breakfast “n Engeltjie het nou net op my tong gepiepie”.  He meant all the food was like tasting a bit like heaven!

The team is really good, our spirit is great and the kids were all so well behaved.  There will be a handing over ceremony/cocktail evening on the 1st of October at the Boardwalk to which all our sponsors will be invited.

This is an amazing sponsorship and we are really grateful.  If we did not have the sponsorship all the parents would have had to help pay for the kids that cannot afford it."
