Billabong South Africa are proud to announce that they will be the new sponsors of the Billabong SA Junior Champs, set to take place at Lower Point, JBay from 30 September to 4 October. This five-day event has historically scored excellent waves, and everyone is looking forward to this contest. "Billabong is very pleased to be able to sponsor the SA Junior Champs this year," said Chad D'Arcy. "Junior surfing is a very important part of our brand DNA, and the SA Junior Champs sits perfectly within this ideology. We're also happy to be hosting a Pro Junior event at Magnatubes during the JBay Winterfest. It's the first time in recent history that Magnas has been used as a venue for an event of this stature, and we're sure that it will deliver excellent surf for the juniors."
