Whilst shooting Greg for the Mini-Smithy Feature, Mark paddled out and pulled some styling old school moves on his longboard. Hope one of the lighties learn some of these soon, sure beats just shortboarding a longboard.

Darn SE boggered up the chances of a fun swell, unless of course you like onshore surf. I don't. The locals still managed to get some waves in amongst the lumps. Brownie kept the old school flame alive on his 20 year old single fin.

Plenty of waves around yesterday, so bummer if you didn't make it and got stuck at work or learning for exams! Strangely there were none of the usual suspects out at Pipe when Dirk went to shoot, so plenty new faces in the gallery.

The Fence locals scored some fun barrels today, and lucky for them Megs was willing to get wind blasted in order to get some shots. Shew, don't think I've surfed there in about 10 years, ever since they closed the harbour parking!

After his surf, Lee grabbed some shots of Pipe and Avo's on Sunday arvie. Things had cleaned up nicely by then, with some glassy waves coming through - but plenty of peeps to enjoy them too!

Avo's fired on the lunchtime low - but unfortunately only got hold of the photags mid arvie cos I'd been surfing all day. So by the time Luc arrived it'd already started to get killed by the high. Still a coupla waves though. Check em out.

When Avo's didn't offer up much, Luc moved around to Clubhouse...and just as well. Grom Matt McGillivray was going banana's, throwing down big punts and man-size hacks. Watch this kid, he's the real deal.
