Millers 29 May '11
Waves at last! Swell suddenly popped up at about 11h00, and yours truly had it to herself for about 30min before anyone else twigged. Was a bit bumpy cos wind was still a bit west, but hey - overhead Millers to yourself...on a Sunday...who's complaining? Just as well, cos the weekend warriors descended in droves thereafter. Frik, anything that floated was out there. Plenty of the "go straight" brigade, plus an ou surfing in a windbreaker (I kid you not). Pity there were a few chops out there too. Some muppet was dropping in on everyone. Bad idea to try that with me, cos #1: I'll vloek you in your moer, and bad idea #2 to do it in front of ex-rugby playing husband (who he happened to have dropped in on a few waves before), who knows the best way to resolve matters like these would be a good snotklap - lucky for chop-man he decided to get out after his blatant burn, think he saw Garth bearing down on him. Bad luck for him, I have a good memory, so he'll be getting the lecture from hell next time I see him! Shew, by the late arvie there were 34 ou's out, and not a lot of waves left. Resulted in multiple "family" waves and a good few collisions! Oh, and Warri is still swinging - not sure if he's a booger or a stand-up. Had a surf in the morning at Millers, and a boogie there in the arvo. Must be hard to be bi-sexual bru!
