Mid winter at last. At least some low pressures are generating a few waves for a change. Coupla good days this month, including the rare Boardroom Bend.

Avo's probably had the best of the waves on offer today. Big and bumpy this morning when I shot, big & cleaner this arvie. Couple of nice closeouts kept everyone on their toes. So good to see some sand back next to the rock again, let's hope it stays

Last day of school, so guess the lighties were going to be out there regardless of the kak weather and hectic wind. Kids are bullet-proof! Somehow they managed to snag some rideable one's amongst the chop and spray. Check em out.

Stormy weather meant hoodies and booties. Poor photags just had to brave the cold without any help from a wetsuit. Stan got some shots in the gloom of the guys getting some good 'uns at Avo's.

It arrived slightly later than expected, but at least it arrived. Thankfully the wind backed off too. Avo's and Millers were the pick of the bunch, with Rincon and Pipe running pretty wild n woolly for those that liked to get their sinuses drained. Check out Zan'e shots of Avo's.

Thankfully the NW relented to give way to a super glassy day, complete with pod of cruising dolphns. Just what the doctor ordered to take deadline stress away! As the tide dropped so did the surf, so I opted to grab a camera instead. Check the shots.

Dennis Ellis and a few guys braved the murky Baakens to ride PE's rarest wave, the Boardroom Bend. The guys charged the reeds, ripped the rapids and did some rail grinds on the embankment, all in the name of fun. Luc caught the action.

Megs braved the windswept expanses of Kings beach to go shoot her man and his mates rip into Fence aka Ramp City. So nice to get some shots of one of PE's best spots. If you goofy, Fence is the place. Just don't just us started about how good it used to be 15 years ago!!
