Still some east swell persisting in the bay. The swell factory on the east coast is still pushing waves our way and will do so til next week. Gotto be one of the best summer's for surf in recent memory. Check out Pipe yesterday midday.

Not too much else to do on the easterly lumps other than busting out the chop hops. Still, the water's warm so why not be in it. Getting a wave whilst having a swim with your board is just an added bonus. Rodney got some shots at Pipe.

Damn shame that the east has bliksemed the cyclone swell filtering through from Durbs direction. Cos had we been lucky enough to have had some west we would all be grinning from ear to ear. No worries, the ou's are still out at the Pipe.

First day back at school today, so meant the arvo sessions was packed at Pipe (compared to not a peep in the water when I skated past there at 10h00!) Some fun lil ramps on offer so the locals were all over it. Rodney got the shots.

Ag well, summer had to end sometime I guess. And on Sunday it did....miffy east and hardly a wave in sight. Didn't deter the guys from making the most of the last of the holidays, and Bruce, Jakes and co were out there hunting lil waves. Rodney caught the action.

Dirk grabbed some shots of the summer chaos at Pipe in the arvo. A few ou's could surf, but the majority were more like floating speedbumps with no clue. Amazing no blood was shed, and everyone got some waves! Check it out.

The swell finally arrived at Seals late arvo. Plenty of waves, but even more peeps! Grant Beck owned it, racking up a wave count that far exceeded everyone else combined. Pays to be local, neh. Check out the shots.
