Pretty challenging conditions trying to pick the cherries amongst the disorganised onshore.  James, Scott, Nicholas and Doug were amongst those trying to avoid getting drilled into the sand. Plenty of water moving around, with waves near the pylon sucking up below sea level. An effort/reward ratio weighted heavily towards effort not reward, but in amongst the close-outs were some pretty fun waves. Not great light conditions for shooting, hazy & into the rising sun.
