First photo gallery of November - can you believe that! 19 days of no waves! And boy, was it evident. 06h00 and 20 ou's in the water at Hummies - and is was super kak. Glad I brough my camera with as even though the light was awful (shooting into the rising sun) it was definitely a better option to shoot not surf. Waves were an infuriating choice between lightening fast close-outs or lumpy flat fat mushburgers. In between all of that the guys still managed to snag a few. Funny thing was, at about 08h00 I decided to check Avo's on my way home - and it was way better (which isn't saying much, but at least had a wall). Grabbed a few waves there until suddenly I was out there on my own - and seeing as there were a ton of sardines about and I watched that Oceans movie last night - which includes crazy footage of great whites chowing seals - decided I was over being part of the food chain and bailed!
