Got up early today - there was swell, but there was some serious bump too. Effort/reward ratio didn't look favourable. Damn the straight west winds. Popped down to Hummies for a bit around midday. Some shacks on offer, even some deep throaty one's. Not all makeable, but you got some tube time before you got your sand time. Josh Saunders got a double barrel wave, where he had to pull a serious Houdini to doggy-door himself out of barrel 2 - wave exploded right on him but somehow he stood through it all and appeared triumphunt after the explosion dissipated. Nice one!
