Barry, Greg and Pete hit Pasta
From Barry Heasley:
Greg, myself and Peter May left for Maldives on 7 November for 9 days in paradise.
This was my 5th trip to this wave rich area and the place seems to just "get under your skin" so much so that it is depressing getting back to sweaty old PE. We have been back for 2 weeks now and still not had any surf here !
The first few days in Maldives were small but eminently surfable culminating in perfect 3 to 5 foot lefts over the last 4 days. With the sea water being 30 degrees we all had lots of sunburn and chafes from 2 to 3 boardies surfs each day but as you know nothing beats the "surfed out feeling " The resort of Pasta Point is totally amazing - you can sit in the restaurant and whilst feeding your face you can just view perfect lefts winding down the point basically almost in front of you.
And the food and service is unbelievable - just what one needs when you are kisshed from so much paddling. We cant wait to do it again in 2012 !
