Wind. PE's famous for it. And today we showed why. From a howling onshore yesterday, we had a brief respite for a few hours this morning - then to a howling offshore! Welcome to the Windy City kids. The west pumped through and smacked what swell there was. There was a pretty small window of about an hour where you could have hooked some waves. Some guys tried their luck at Hummies but got chased out by the lifey's (will blog about that more next week - I've been emailing the head of Blue Flag in SA about the Hummies surfing issue.) So, Avo's or bust, and boy, it was more bust than not.
