Jono pulled the trigger and packed his camera for a JBay mission earlier in the week. Just as well, cos he got some great shots of the guys taking on the heavy conditions. Check out his shots here.

The swell certainly pulled in on Tuesday - a day late, but who cares! Luckily the predicted east didn't quite pick up as much as expected, so most ofthe day stayed surfable with damn fun waves. Check out Ron's shots of Pipe in the arvo.

JBay 9 April '12 (Stan) Better than an Easter egg?!
Stan braved the elements to go shoot the waves going off their pip at JBay. A gaping shack sure beats a truckload of Easter eggs I suppose. A few local boys made the trip west, and heard that Bryan and Tertio were amongst those that got good waves.

Easter always bring the waves as well as the Easter eggs. Not sure which we prefer more? Maybe a chocolate wave? Stan got some shots of Seals yesterday arvo. It looks nothing like this today, pity.

Decided to try out my homemade pole mount for the first time today. Turns out it's pretty tricky swimming about with a big pole. Anne, Taz and a coupla others smiled for the camera. Check it out.
