Nice barreling right between Main Beach and Anne's. Managed to recruit one of the local lighties to be my crash test dummy and take the helmet mounted GoPro out for it's first session. Problem was, after securing the test pilot, it took about an hour to find all the bits and pieces to mount the cam, add an extra security loop etc....so by the time I got back to the beach it'd dropped by half and gone lightly cross onshore. Bogger. Nonetheless, still managed to get a few shots before the battery ran out. Had forgotten to recharge it. Bogger #2. Least we know it works, so now just waiting for some real waves....
